Director of Design Engineering
Responsible for integrating the latest graphics technology into web sites created at MBC. My role is to research various graphics formats, authoring tools and implementation strategies in order to make the most of the graphical navigation systems we develop. My role also spans into optimizing a site's performance; making use of graphic compression tools, graphic construct and functionality needs. Once solutions have been reached, it is my responsibility to train the graphic designers, production artists and developers what technologies and processes work best. This position works closely with our Navigation Designer in order to fully develop the end-user experience.
Secondary responsibilities include graphic design, production, light development and giving in-house seminars and training sessions.

Corporately trained by WilTel Communications in maintaining and creating prompts (scripts) for the system from both an on-site and off-site standpoint.
Work with Computing Support office to coordinate bringing the latest technologies to the UPHS web. Responsibilities also involve supervising the Multimedia Specialist, and teaching HTML and web site maintenance procedures to the marketing staff.
